The Celtics And Cavs Agree To Trade Kyrie Irving For Isaiah Thomas

The Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed to a deal that will send Kyrie Irving to Boston and Isaiah Thomas to the Cavaliers.
Other players included in the deal are Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and Brooklyn’s 2018 first-round pick will also be sent to Cleveland. Outside of Thomas, the most lucrative component of this deal for Cleveland is the first-round pick from Brooklyn. That pick could possibly be a number 1 overall pick or type 5 pick at least. The Cavaliers have been hinted at the idea that LeBron may leave again and don’t want to have to rebuild from scratch if he does.
This deal favors Cleveland, but I am not sure it makes them the better team for the 2017-2018.
