The SNES Classic Keeps Selling Out

Nintendo will finally release the SNES Classic in America. The SNES Classic is a smaller remake of the original SNES(Super Nintendo Entertainment System) which was released in 1991 in America. The remake of the system comes with 21 games. The retail price of the gaming system is going for $79.99.

The major problem is you can’t even pre-order the system anymore if you wanted to. Retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and etc have the device posted as being unable to order. I think this is a clear indication that Nintendo did not make enough of these devices. They underestimated the power of nostalgia and properly thought the device wouldn’t sell as much. They have created a shortage and in October you will see these devices posted online for far more than $79.99.
