LG has revealed a portable air purifier they are calling the PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier.

The portable air purifier has 2 replaceable filters with battery-powered fans. The mask has filters sensors to detect when you’re breathing in or out and adjusts the fan’s speeds.
LG plans to donate 2,000 of these masks to the University Hospital in Seoul with hopes to help the medical staff.
The United States CDC advice against the use of masks with exhalation valves or vents to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, since these don’t filter “expelled respiratory droplets” that could allow wearers to infect those nearby.
