Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren has finally revealed her medicare plan. The plan is being coined with the phrase “Medicare For All”. Warren’s health care system would cost $52 trillion dollars over the next 10 years.
One of the major features of Elizabeth Warren’s ‘Medicare For All’ plan is she promises that it will not increase taxes on the American middle class.
Elizabeth does plan to raise taxes on the super-wealthy to help pay for this $52 trillion health care system. She also plans to increase taxes on financial transaction taxes and payroll taxes on employers.
I honestly do not believe this health care system can be implemented without taxing the middle class. I am also opposed to increasing taxes on employers. The more taxes an employer has to pay the less likely they are to keep hiring, give raises, and expand.
