During Apple’s latest event they revealed a big announcement for Apple TV+ along with some new hardware. Apple TV+ will be the home for “Friday Night Baseball” which will feature live MLB games.
The MLB is currently on a lockout but Apple TV+ subscribers can expect to get MLB games Friday nights in the 2022 regular season. Apple and MLB partnership will also provide enhanced league and team coverage for fans to follow in the Apple News app. It is rumored that Apple paid over $100 million for the right to stream MLB games on Apple TV+.
