It has been reported that Nike has officially suspended Deshaun Watson’s endorsement. This statement came as a result of the ongoing sexual misconduct allegation against the Houston Texans quarterback.
“We are deeply concerned by the disturbing allegations and have suspended Deshaun Watson. We will continue to closely monitor the situation,” – Nike Official Statment
Ashley Solis has been the first woman to publicly speak about sexual assault and harassment in a lawsuit against Watson. Solis claims she was traumatized as a result of being sexually assaulted.
Watson’s lawyer is claiming his the accuser attempted to blackmail his client for $30,000.
