Amazon Opens Its First Cashierless Grocery Store

Amazon has opened it’s first what is expected to be many, full-size Cashierless Grocery Store. The Amazon Go Grocery store is located in Seattle, Washington and is over 10,000 square feet. The store sells meats, fresh produce, and alcohol.

Shoppers will have zero human interaction during your visit to the store. Before you walk in you have to scan a QR code with your Amazon Mobile app and walk through a turnstile. You simply put all the items you want in your basket and you walk out when you ready. Amazon will hire people to work at the store for general maintenance and to stock the shelves.

Amazon Go Grocery store will be a competitor to other convenient stores like Wawa, 7 Eleven, and Circle K.
