One of WWE’s developmental wrestlers tested positive for the coronavirus.
Since the positive test results, WWE has canceled their TV taping for June 16, 2020. WWE now plans to do COVID-19 testing for in-ring performers and on-site employees.
“Since that time, no other individuals that attended the facility have reported symptoms, However, out of an abundance of caution and to ensure the health and safety of the company’s performers and staff, all talent, production crew and employees on-site at the training and production facilities will be tested for COVID-19 immediately.” – Jeffrey Dugas, WWE’s associate medical director
The developmental wrestler was last seen in the facility in Orlando on June 9, 2020.
