On the hills of new tension with Iran, President Trump orders 1,000 U.S. troops to the middle east.
According to U.S. Defense Secretary, Patrick Shanahan, the troops are being sent to protect American personal.
“The United States does not seek conflict with Iran. The action today is being taken to ensure the safety and welfare of our military personnel working throughout the region and to protect our national interests” – Patrick Shanahan
