Toys ‘R’ Us is now under new leadership with a new vision and a new name. According to an official press release Toys ‘R’ Us is apart Tru Kids Brands along with Babies’R’Us and Geoffrey.

“Effective January 20, 2019, the new company, Tru Kids Inc. doing business as Tru Kids Brands™, became the proud parent of Toys”R”Us®, Babies”R”Us®, Geoffrey® and more than 20 established consumer toy and baby brands” – Tru Kids Inc.
Tru Kids Inc. plans to open 70 Toys ‘R’ Us stores this year in Asia, India, and Europe. The future plans for Tru Kids Brands in America will be revealed in the near future. Richard Barry who was the global chief merchandising officer for Toys’R’Us will now be the CEO of Tru Kids Brands going.
I am excited to see if the Toys’R’Us rebrand translates to maintaining a sustainable business model.
