Android will be moving away from the tasty treat nicknames like Kit Kat, Oreo, Ice Cream Sandwich, and other. Now Androids version will simply be numbered.
On Google’s official blog, they stated that the code names caused some confusing globally. The new version naming hopes to make things much more inclusive and accessible as possible.
