A Fort Worth police officer fatally shot and killed a 28-year-old black woman in her own home.

We now know that the woman that was shot was identified as Atatiana Jefferson. The officer was searching outside of the home with his flashlight. the body cam video is shut off right before you see the officer opens fire through the window.
It turned out that Atatiana Jefferson was inside of her own home when she was killed.
The Fort Worth officer that committed the shooting is now on administrative leave for the moment.
