The Buffalo Sabres have officially announced that they have fired head coach Ralph Krueger. Going forward Don Granato will be the interim head coach for the rest of the season.
The Sabres are currently on a 12 game losing streak. The playoffs may be out of the picture with a team record of 6-18-4. Buffalo has not made the playoffs since 2011.
If you ask me Jeff Skinner and Taylor Hall have not lived up to the hype and the Sabres were really banking on those players playing well. Their best player Jack Eichel has only played in 21 games in the 2020-2021 season.
