Nintendo has effectively discontinued every model of the 3DS. The Nintendo website has removed all mentions of the Nintendo 3DS currently. The 3DS was announced 10 years ago back in 2010.

This move shows that Nintendo is fully focused on the Switch now and in the near future. The Switch is still the only major console to successfully be a handheld device and a TV console.
You can still get a Nintendo 3DS for a third-party retailer like Amazon or eBay.
