The popular video streaming services Netflix monthly price is going up for United States subscribers. The standard plan will increase from $10.99 to $12.99. The basic plan will only increase by $1 for $7.99 to 8.99.

The premier plan that allows you to stream on up to four screens will increase from $13.99 per month to $15.99 per month. It looks like the price hikes will go into effect sooner than later. It depends on your billing cycle, but I say by March everyone should be should see the price hike.
These price hikes are a clear indication that the company is trying to close the gap in how much debt they are carrying. It was reported that the company spent $8 billion in on content.
