The live-action “Mulan” movie premiered digitally on the Disney Plus streaming platform over the weekend. To watch the movie you had to pay an additional $30 plus the monthly Disney Plus subscription.
Since the movie was released on September 4, 2020, Disney Plus app downloads have increased by 68%. It seems that the Mulan movie has provided a boost to the Disney Plus streaming service.
It will be interesting to see if Disney will release other blockbuster movies on their streaming service. Mulan will available to regular Disney Plus subscribers on December 4, 2020.
