Jimmy Butler finally got his wish and will be traded to the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Minnesota Timberwolves will send Jimmy Butler and Justin Patton to the 76ers, in exchange for Robert Covington, Dario Saric, and a 2022 second-round draft pick.
Jimmy is likely to be in the starting lineup with Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid to form a new big three in Philadelphia.

This trade is also a plus for the Minnesota Timberwolves just by getting Butler out of their locker room. It was beginning to feel like Jimmy Butler was intentionally sabotaging the chemistry of the team. They also get two players who can be a key contributor to a winning team in Saric and Covington.
This trade should put the Philadelphia 76ers in the mix of the best team in the east.
