I don’t know about everyone else but I am all the way ready for a new Rihanna album. I was inspired to write this when I heard “Kiss It Better” on my library Shuffle. And it hit me, Rihanna’s ANTI album dropped back in early 2016. ANTI dropped after 4 years after Rihanna’s Unapologetic.

I think I know why I have so much thirst for some new Rihanna music. Bad Gal dropped an album every year from 2009 to 2012. Then she took 4 years to drop ANTI. Basically, we have spoiled to some degree getting a new Rihanna on an annual basis and now it is hard to deal with not getting a new Rihanna album every year.

I get it, the Fenty brand is massive and it may be consuming a ton of Rihanna’s time at the moment. But selfishly I want an album sooner than later.

It has been rumored that not one but two Rihanna albums are on the way. One being a normal album(whatever that is) and the second being a full reggae album. The reggae album idea doesn’t scare me, because Rihanna has filtered with that genre a few time now. A full-length album would be interesting, to say the least.
