Grant Hill was the first player I saw that could pass, rebound, and score at the rate we see LeBron do now. Unfortunately, Grant was riddled with injuries in his career so the view on his basketball career.

  • 1994-1995 Rookie of the Year
  • 7x All-Star
  • 17.7 ppg

I want to highlight grant hills first 6 seasons with the Detroit Pistons. He averaged 19.9 PPG 7.2 RPG, 5.8 APG.
When Grant came out of Duke he was not respected in the NBA as a good shooter. Similar to LeBron early in his career. It didn’t matter because teams were still not able to stop him from scoring.
Grant Hill managed to play 18 seasons in the NBA. After his first 6 seasons, he was not considered a number scoring option on a team.
So the question remains, is Grant Hill a Hall of Famer? I am leaning towards yes, but I am saying that based on a third of his career.
What do you think?
