At the age of 45 Ichiro Suzuki as elected to retire from Major League Baseball.
Ichiro is no doubt a 1st ballot Hall of Famer as soon as he is eligible. I often call him the greatest hitter in my lifetime.

Ichiro is one of the only 7 players in MLB history with at least 3,000 hits and 500 stolen bases. The other players are Ty Cobb, Eddie Collins, Rickey Henderson, Lou Brock, Paul Molitor, and Honus Wagner.
Ichiro has played his final game in the MLB while in Japan. I couldn’t think of any other way to go out.
