The deal will keep Encore and Starz apart of Comcast premium channel packages. Another part of the deal is Lionsgate will license their content to Comcast’s new streaming services called Peacock.

“We are pleased that we were able to extend the partnership to Peacock and other businesses within Comcast while also ensuring Xfinity customers continue to enjoy great Starz programming,” – Dana Strong, Comcast president of consumer services

The terms of the deal have not been disclosed, but both Lionsgate and Comcast seem to be satisfied with the terms of the deal.
