Can The Nationals Keep Bryce Harper?

Bryce Harper is arguably the best position player in baseball right now. Bryce Harper has a decision to make in the near future similar to what Lebron did when he left the team that drafted him for Miami. The Nationals have been a competitive team since 2012
The Nationals have been a competitive team since 2012 making the playoff 3 times but never making it out of the division series. They are off to a good start in 2017, but I think The Nationals are closer to going back into rebuilding then they are to a World Series Championship.
The Nationals cannot remain competitive and give Harper the $300, $400, $500 million he is projected to get. With Scott Boras as his agent, this can become a race of the highest bidder. Scott Boras is the same guy that got the slugger Prince Fielder a 9 year $214 million contract.
To sum it up I think the Nationals have a slim to no chance of keeping Bryce Harper in DC for years to come. As a Phillies fan, I hope he just gets the hell out of the NL East sooner than later.
What do you think?

  1. Hi my friend! I wish to say that this article is amazing, nice written and come with approximately all vital infos. I’d like to look extra posts like this .

  2. You really make it appear really easy with your presentation however I to find this topic to be actually something which I feel I might by no means understand. It sort of feels too complex and extremely wide for me. I’m having a look ahead to your next post, I will attempt to get the hang of it!
