First off, we now know that there is no chance the PS5 will be released in 2019. Mark doesn’t give an expected release date or year, but we do know Sony has been working on this system for the past 4 years and counting.
The PS5 will host a solid-state hard drive and support 8K televisions. Under the hood will be a CPU based on AMD Ryzen, custom GPU based on AMD Radeon Navi, ray-tracing support. Mark put heavy emphasis on the new console ability to reduce load time by 93 percent.
