Joel Embiid is notorious for performing the WWE’s Degeneration X gesture “Suck It”. The last time Embiid made this gesture it cost him.
During the Philadelphia 76ers 126-98 victory against the Portland Trail Blazers, the NBA fined Joel Embiid for performing the gesture. The 2022-2023 MVP was fined $35,000 for the obscene gesture.
This sparked the WWE to issue an official statement. Triple H extended an invitation to Joel Embiid to attend Wrestlemania. Wrestlemania 40 will take place in Philadelphia for a 2 night event.
