The U.S. To Cut $300 Million In Aid To Pakistan

The Pentagon has decided to cut $300 million in aid to Pakistan.
According to Reuters, The Trump administration thinks Islamabad is granting safe haven to insurgents who are waging a 17-year-old war in neighboring Afghanistan. Pakistan has already denied these allegations.

“Due to a lack of Pakistani decisive actions in support of the South Asia Strategy the remaining $300 million was reprogrammed,” Kone Faulkner – Pentagon spokesman Lieutenant Colonel

Pakistan will have a chance of getting the aid money back if their future action proves these allegations to not be true.
Pakistan has received an estimated $33 billion in financial assistance from the United States since 2002.
