The NHL has decided to suspend former Coyote’s General Manager John Chayka through December 31, 2021.
The leagues stated that Chayka was suspended for “conduct detrimental to the league and game”. John Chayka was the youngest general manager at 26 back in 2016. He essentially quit July 2020 from his role as the Arizona Coyote’s general manager.
This suspension means Chayka can not be involved in any NHL business for the remainder of 2021. The NHL has not issued any further statements.
