The Eagles finally got the monkey off their back about never winning a Super Bowl. They won the whole thing in the most unlikely of ways. They Lost their return specialist Darren Sproles early in the year. They lost All-Pro left tackle Jason Peters midway through the season. They lost their Defensive signal caller Jordan Hicks. And most of all they lost their starting quarterback Carson Wentz in week 15. They were underdogs in every game in the playoffs despite having the best record in the NFL.
Nick Foles managed to collect 971 yards 6 passing touchdown with a 72.6% completion percentage throughout the playoffs. He even managed to get a receiving touchdown in the Super Bowl and was awarded Super Bowl MVP.
