Target Raises Minimum Wage To $13 An Hour

Target has decided to raise its minimum wage for the 3rd time and under 2 years. The company will raise its minimum wage from $12 to $13 in June 2019.

Targets announced plans back in 2017 to have a minimum wage of $15 an hour by the year 2020.

The retailer minimum wage is now $2 more than their rival company Walmart. Which helps when it comes to getting people wanting to be employed by your company. Job seekers will be far more likely to apply for a job at Target than Walmart with the minimum wage difference.
