That time slot on NBC will soon be a Kelly Clarkson talk show. There is no definitive reason why NBC is canceling Steve and replace the time slot with a Kelly Clarkson show. Steve had a 7 year run with his daytime talk show.
I have a hard time believing this news is hurting Steve Harvey but so much. He is also the host of Family Feud, Little Big Shots, and his own radio show called The Steve Harvey Morning Show.
