Skip Bayless Is Leaving FS1

Skip Bayless, the outspoken co-host of FS1’s sports debate show “Undisputed,” is leaving the network after eight years. Reports surfaced in early July from the New York Post’s Ryan Glasspiegel, indicating Bayless’ final episode will air “later this summer.”

This news comes after a significant shift in “Undisputed’s” format last year. Bayless’ longtime co-host, Shannon Sharpe, departed the show following the 2023 NBA Finals. The program implemented a rotating panel of guests in Sharpe’s place, but it reportedly failed to capture the same audience engagement as the Bayless-Sharpe dynamic.

FS1, however, intends to keep “Undisputed” going without Bayless. Who will take over as the show’s lead host remains to be seen?

Skip Bayless is a polarizing figure in sports media, known for his provocative takes and fiery on-air debates. “Undisputed” thrived on the back-and-forth between Bayless and Sharpe. His departure marks a significant change for the show and raises questions about its future direction.

Fans will be eager to see how FS1 fills the void left by Bayless and whether “Undisputed” can maintain its audience without the sports media personality.
