I do not need to see the NFL combine to know that Penn State running back Saquon Barkley is the best player coming out of the 2018 draft.
I know a lot of people are putting a lot of stock in these quarterbacks like Josh Allen, Josh Allen, Baker Mayfield, and Sam Darnold. I honestly don’t any of these quarterbacks are worth a damn. That’s right I said it.
Base on the eye test I think Josh Allen out of Wyoming is the best quarterback in the 2018 draft. I have to give him an asterisk since he played for Wyoming and they play in a Mountain West conference and is considered one of the weaker conferences in NCAA football.
Saquon Barkley is a bonafide playmaker. I think he has the ability to change a game at the drop of a dime. I look at what Todd Gurley did in the 2017 season where he averaged 87 yards rushing a game and 52.5 yards receiving yards per game. Barkley can be a player where his numbers can look like that.
Every or any team that passes upon Saquon Barkley in the draft is making a mistake. The Browns have the 1st and the 4th overall pick they can literally draft Barkley and still get one of the top quarterbacks.
