It was reported that Russell Westbrook had this $205 million dollar contract on the table throughout the summer. For some unknown reason, Westbrook wasn’t quick to accept the offer.
Acquiring Paul George and Carmelo Anthony via trade must have made Russell Westbrook much more comfortable staying in Oklahoma City for 5 more years. Oklahoma City isn’t the best place on live in America, but if you got a chance to win a one or multiple championships. I also wonder will this persuade Paul and Carmelo to sign long-term deals and stay in OKC as well?
