The Houston Rockets have signed Austin rivers for the rest of the season.
Rivers started the season with the Washington Wizards but was traded to the Phoenix Suns. The Suns then waived Rivers making him available to sign with any team. He averaged around 23 minutes per game and 7.2 points per game.

Houston signing rivers make sense with Chris Paul likely to be out for a few weeks. It is publicly noted that Chris Paul and Austin Rivers are not the best of friends since they both played with the Los Angeles Clippers. It has been reported that Chris Paul has no problems with this signing.
