If you were a kid during the late ’90s and stayed up way too late watching TV, you came across one of Miss Cleo’s infomercials.
Miss Cleo ran her TV infomercial from 1997-2003 promoting her pay-per-call service. They mainly ran in the middle of the night either before or after the Oxiclean infomercials.
Cleo who’s real name was Youree Dell Harris died from her colon cancer spreading at the age of 53.
The whole Physic reader network was a giant scam and the FTC cracked down on it eventually. But Miss Cleo did do some legit work. She authored a book titled Keepin’ It Real: A Practical Guide for Spiritual Living.
Youree Harris performed the voiceovers for the character Auntie Poulet in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
