The NFL and Papa John’s have announced that they will end their partnership going forward.
The writing was on the wall when Papa John’s founder John Schnatter said the NFL protesting was hurting business for Papa John’s

I don’t think the NFL loses anything from ending their partnership with Papa John’s. Pizza Hut and Dominos are already calling the NFL’s phone off the hook. Papa John’s can now focus on building a pristine reputation again. This time they can not blame the NFL if their stock fall or they see a dip in revenue.
