North Korea Stole $2 Billion In Cryptocurrency


Japanese publication Asahi Shinbun has reported that North Korea has hacked several financial intuitions and cryptocurrency. North Korea has a group of talented hackers that go by the name of APT 38. APT 38 is under the governed of the Korean People’s Army’s Reconnaissance General Bureau. The cyber-attacks go as far back as December 2015.

The stolen money is alleged to be used to fund North Korea’s nuclear missiles program. The money also provides the funding for luxury goods North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un and his inner circle.
So essentially, North Korea is funding their strongly opposed nuclear missile program with stolen money from around the world.  It’s sad to say but I think the repercussion for their actions will be none.
