Natalia Veselnitskaya is a Russian lawyer who once had a meeting at Trump Tower back in 2016. Her charges, however, have nothing to do with President Trump collusion investigation. Natalia was apart of a money laundering investigation that led to her being charged.

Robert Mueller suspected that Natalia had something to do with interfering with the 2016 election. Back in the summer of 2016, Veselnitskaya met with Donald Trump’s senior campaign advisers at Trump Towers. It was long rumored that she offered up some dirt on Hillary Clinton.
