States Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said he presented a new $916 billion COVID-19 relief proposal to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
The $916 billion proposal includes funding money for state and local governments and robust liability protection for businesses, schools, and universities.
President Trump has stated that he will sign the COVID-19 relief bill whenever Congress actually agrees on the bill. One of the missing components in Mnuchin’s proposal is it does not include another round of stimulus checks.
