The former Governor of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney has won the Republican primary Utah Senate seat in a landslide victory.
Romney will replace senator Orrin Hatch who is planning to retire once his term is done.
President Trump gave Romney a public congratulation once hearing the news of his victory.
