Microsoft is rumored to be interested in adding a dedicated Office button to the keyboard.

On the surface I thought a key on the board dedicated to opening Office Suite seemed a bit useless. But if the Office button partnered with shortcuts to perform special task, I think Microsoft might have something special.
I use Excel a lot so I would love to press Office key + E to open Microsoft Excel. As long as the Office key has special task connected to it, Windows users will be welcoming to the idea of adding the Office button to the keyboard.
It is unclear weather the Office button will be on laptops or standalone keyboards.
