After massive layoffs of her Campaign staff, Marianne Williamson has decided to drop out of the 2020 presidential race.
The self-help author failed to really get a lot of American people behind her. She remained below 2% in the polls which were a requirement to be on the debate stage.
According to Williamson’s former communications director Patricia Ewing, funding was also a big issue in her campaign.
Marianne Williamson is really a sweet lady, but she had no shot at making to the democratic primaries. I would not be surprised is she tried to run again in 2024 or 2028.
