Just before the trade deadline, the Memphis Grizzlies have traded all-star center Marc Gasol to the Toronto Raptors.

The Grizzlies will get Jonas Valanciunas, Delon Wright, CJ Miles, 2024 2nd-round pick in exchange for Marc Gasol. I am of the belief that the Raptors got the better end of this deal hands down.
I can’t help but feel like this Raptors trade is in response to the 76ers acquiring Tobias Harris a few days earlier. The East this year clearly has 4 teams at the top and then there is everybody else. The Raptors, 76ers, Bucks, and Celtics.
