Scientists may have spotted a potential sign of life in Venus’s atmosphere.
An international team of astronomers has discovered a rare molecule in the atmosphere of Venus that could be produced by living organisms. The chemical phosphine was detected near the top of the acidic clouds.
On earth, phosphine is produced by bacteria which is why scientists believe there may be some form of life on the planet Venus.
