It’s not ever year I am looking forward to the MLB Home Rune Derby. I think we might have two young sluggers that are destiny to put on a flat-out. I wouldn’t be mad if they sent Bellinger out there as the lone NL participant and send Judge as the lone AL participant. Let them go at it for third rounds. The guy that wins 2 of the 3 rounds is the 2017 MLB Home Run Derby Champion.
The All-Star game is in Miami this year and they don’t have one of the most Home Run friendly parks in the league. Stanton may just make it look small with some of the long home run bombs he sends out of the park.
These two rookies having me looking forward to the “Mid-Summer Classic” this year. This is the kind of excitement that the MLB needs.
