Joel Embiid Signs A 5-Year $148 Million Extention

The Philadelphia 76ers are ready to turn the corner and being franchise dedicated to winning.  After throwing away season after season which was looked at as “The Process” The Sixers finally feel they have some player they can win with
Joel Emiid’s contract extension makes him a Sixer until the year 2023. Embiid has shown that he can play at an elite level when healthy. Emphasizes on when health. Embiid played 31 games total in three NBA seasons. No one knows if he can play at a high level for a full season.
I am told the contract has clauses that will protect the Sixers just in case Embiid continues to riddle with injuries.
