Jay-Z Accused In A Civil Lawsuit Of Raping A 13-year-old girl In 2000 With Diddy

An anonymous accuser has refiled a civil lawsuit that is claiming Jay-Z and Diddy raped her at the MTV Video Music Awards after-party. She claims this took place back in the year 2000. The federal lawsuit was originally filed in October in the Southern District of New York, listing Combs as a defendant. It was refiled on December 8. 2024 to include Jay-Z.

Jay-Z has released a statement denying the claims against him. He also states the victim should file a criminal lawsuit, not a civil one.

“These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!! Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree? These alleged victims would deserve real justice if that were the case.” – Jay-Z official statement

Federal prosecutors in New York criminally charged Combs in September 2024 with racketeering, sex trafficking, and other offenses, and he is behind bars at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center after he was denied bail for a third time last month. His trial is scheduled for May 5, 2025.
