It has been a week since Former FBI director released his new book titled “A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership,”.
Since James Comey was fired by President Trump, he has been on a grand media tour telling his story and speaking his peace so to speak. This resulted in Trump calling Comey an “Untruthful Slime Ball”.
It was reported by the book publisher, Macmillan’s Flatiron Books that Comey’s book has surpassed 600,000 copies via audiobooks, physical books, and e-books.
I am a firm believer that Trump is much of the reason why this book is so popular and has generated so much in sales. I made the proclamation that Trump as president is a win for the media in 2017. Hate him or love him President Trump is interesting and generates interest just about every time he opens his mouth.
Whether Comey’s book is a good book or not is irrelevant to me. The fact that his book is already ultra successful due his controversy with President Donald Trump is amazing to me. It just certifies the Trump has the media wrapped around his finger.
