When Donald Trump coined the phrase “Make America Great Again” was to bring jobs back to America apart of that plan?
Rather these companies are in agreement with president Trump’s politics or not, there are some major companies that will be adding and keeping jobs in America.
Amazon
At the beginning of 2017 Amazon stated they will hire 100,000 new full-time employees in the next 18 months. These jobs will be spread all across the United States. This announcement came just days after Trump met with top guys from the major tech companies. There isn’t a solid way to say the Trump administration had anything to do with this, but there also isn’t a way to say they absolutely didn’t. Either way, 100,000 full-time jobs in just a year and a half is a boost to the economy.
Ford
President Donald Trump openly criticized Ford as one of the American companies that were fleeing the country taking jobs away from Americans. Ford originally hand Plans on building a $1.6 billion factory in Mexico. Since then they have canceled that plan and will expand their Michigan factory. Ford will also make their Lincoln model MKC model in Louisville, Kentucky. The Trump administration took credit for Ford’s latest moves, but ford quickly denied of the government having any involvement.
Bayer
Bayer, the German pharmaceutical company plans to spend some big money in America. Bayer plans to spend $6 billion in research and development in America. Bayer will also add 3,000 additional American jobs and will keep the 9,000 Jobs they already have in America.
Walmart
Wal-Mart, the retail giant is looking to hire 10,000 new retail employees. Wal-Mart estimates that the remodeling of stores, distribution centers, and other facilities will support a further 24,000 construction-related jobs.
They’re a few other companies that are jumping on this “more jobs for Americans” campaign these just the few I decided to point out. So whether it’s Trump or just a wave of companies wanting to create more job all of a sudden there will be more jobs in America in the near future.
