So 2015 was not the end of the Google glass program after all. Google is planning to resurrect the Google Glass program in the near future, but not for consumers. They are calling it the Google Glass EE or the Google Glass Enterprise Edition. Sounds like it will be marketed to companies instead of the everyday consumer.
The camera has been upgraded to from 5 mega pixels to 8 mega pixels. The Google Glass EE also can interact with wi-fi much faster and has a much longer battery life.
Google seems to be playing this roll out close to the chest. They do not have a timeline set to when they will open to working with more companies with the Google Glass Enterprise Edition.
I am just happy to see the Google Glass resurgence. I the idea of the technology can be the ground level to something much more groundbreaking.
