G-III Apparel Group has announced that it will close all 89 G.H. Bass and all 110 Wilson Leather stores.
The New York-based Apparel group will begin the liquidation process immediately.
“With a focus on enhancing shareholder value, we have made the difficult decision to close all of the Wilsons Leather and G.H. Bass stores and have entered into agreements for the early lease termination of a significant majority of these stores” – Morris Goldfarb, CEO of G-III Apparel Group
The fashion group will now put a higher focus on its wholesale business with its other brands.
